Hampshire & Isle of Wight Support for Neurodiverse Families

What is a Voice and Influence group?

Nobody knows better than parents/carers what family life is really like. The Voice and Influence group is a place for parents/carers who have completed a programme to share ideas about the service. We want to hear what worked well when you attended a programme, any views you have about the service i.e. what is working well and ways that we can improve.

What do I need to do?

Come along to one of our online meetings and share your ideas.

We will share updates with you on the service and explore new ventures with you. We may bring a challenge the service is having, to explore your views and discuss tangible solutions that could support future delivery of the skills-building programmes we deliver.

Here are some examples of how parents/carers have helped us through the Voice and Influence group:

  • Helping to choose our service logo
  • Helping to choose our service name
  • Sharing views on building our website
  • Sharing views on information to be shared to wider parents on service padlets (online information boards)
  • Proof reading material for us
  • Feedback on waiting list management

We would love to get you involved!
